What is your vision for your life?

Uncategorized Jun 03, 2020

Yesterday, we talked about Step 1 in the process of creating transformation that sticks: CONNECTION to your whole self - mind body and spirit.

Step 1 has a "part b" which we're getting into today:

b) Connection to your VISION.

It’s easy to lose sight of YOU, what you want, why you’re here, what is really important to you.

Especially if you spent any amount of time care-giving for a loved on or even if you’ve spent the last couple of years deep in and out of grief — YOU may have been lost in the shuffle.

Sometimes it feels like you don’t even know who you are any more.

Take the time to ask yourself:

  • What do I want? What do I REALLY want out of life?
  • What lights me up?

  • What would I do all day every day for free because I just love it?

  • The day I arrive on my deathbed and I look back, who do I want to be proud of being?

  • During all of your most important moments from this point forward, who is standing with you?

You get to connect to your vision. Your vision is your WHY and your lighthouse.

If you’ve never asked yourself what your vision is, good :) Better late than never.

YOU DESERVE TO HAVE A VISION!

It might not be clear right now, but vision gives you direction. It gives you a reason to keep moving when things get hard or when it's easier to just say "screw it, I'll just sit on the couch forever."

Your vision right now might be something as simple as “I want to make a difference for people and I want to know at the end of my life that I had an impact.” That’s the beginning of a vision.

And then we flesh it out from there.

(If you HAD a vision and lost someone who was central to it,
my heart goes out to you. You get to feel that and process it and re-create yourself and your new vision, because YOU are worth it).

You have a homework assignment for today, if you're willing
😊 Write down your inspiring vision for your life. Even just 2 sentences, and send it back to me.

You get to say it to someone else (me!) in order to make it real. First step is connecting to it, and then we start to make it a reality.
